The original
María Teresa de Borbón y Vallabriga, later Condesa de Chinchón, Francisco Goya, 1783, National Gallery of Art, accession 1970.17.123.
The story
Goya painted María Teresa at the age of two years and nine months. She stands before a Spanish landscape in a lace-trimmed bodice and veil, accompanied by a small white dog. It is a remarkably tender portrait of a very young member of a distinguished family.
Fine Art Paper: museum-quality fine-art reproduction. Matte Cotton Canvas: a softly textured canvas finish for a more traditional painted appearance.
