The Bush Girl.
A young lady, a patch of New Zealand bush and a bonnet full of freshly picked flowers.
Nobody knows precisely who she was. Nobody knows who painted her.
But there she is, standing quite confidently in the middle of nineteenth-century New Zealand, looking as though she has somewhere to be.
A little mystery is rather becoming.
