A portrait for the woman who has never needed to explain why the room was waiting for her.

Present yourself. Choose your size and finish, then send us a clear photograph. We shall arrange the likeness and place you, quite convincingly, within the original portrait.

The original

Anne van Keppel, Countess of Albemarle, Thomas Hudson, circa 1745, Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery, Exeter, registration 71/1948/1.

The story

Anne van Keppel was the daughter of Arnold Joost van Keppel, first Earl of Albemarle, and Lady Anne Lennox. Hudson presents her in the polished, formal manner of eighteenth-century British portraiture, with an elegant silver dress and the assured presence of a woman of rank.

Fine Art Paper: museum-quality fine-art reproduction. Matte Cotton Canvas: a softly textured canvas finish for a more traditional painted appearance.

Category: THE LADY.
