The original
Portrait of a Lady as Flora, Jean-Marc Nattier, 1753, Museum of John Paul II Collection, Warsaw.
The story
Nattier was famous for portraits in which aristocratic women appeared as mythological figures. Here the sitter becomes Flora, goddess of flowers, surrounded by the soft theatrical language of eighteenth-century French portraiture.
Fine Art Paper: museum-quality fine-art reproduction. Matte Cotton Canvas: a softly textured canvas finish for a more traditional painted appearance.
